CAVITATION INDUCED FUSION

TOMORROW'S CLEAN ENERGY

Energy of the Future

Fusion power is the energy of the future, it is abundant and limitless. Unlike other forms of alternative energy (such as wind or solar) fusion power has the highest power density of all known forms of energy: 10 micrograms of deuterium fusion fuel are equivalent to a barrel of oil. Deuterium (which is an isotope of hydrogen) is cheap and plentiful and is easily extracted from water (deuterium costs less than $1 USD per gram).

Fusion power plants will be compact, scalable and free from carbon emissions. Due to negligible fuel costs the cost of power generation is expected to be under 1 cent/kWh.

Fusion Mega-Projects

U.S., Japanese and European governments clearly see the promise of the fusion power. That is why they are committed to spending billions and billions on fusion mega-projects such as ITER or National Ignition Facility. These fusion mega-projects became too-big-to-fail enterprises with entire research ecosystems and countless careers built around them. The vested interest in 'big fusion' creates difficult environment for innovation, especially when such innovation challenges status quo of the established fusion research. That is why both cold fusion and bubble fusion research was dismissed and effectively banned from funding and publication. This has happened because influential academics who are also the decision makers for the government-sponsored research felt that their careers and livelihood were threatened should the new ideas take root.

The Race is On

Fortunately, innovation is not limited to academia and government agencies - it comes primarily from the private sector. Companies such as General Fusion (Canada), Lawrenceville Plasma Physics (USA), Impulse Devices (USA) are pursuing alternative approaches to conventional thermonuclear fusion. Other companies, such as Black Light Power (USA), Proton-21 (Ukraine), MagneGas Corporation (USA), and Defkalion (Greece) are pushing the envelope even further by working on and successfully demonstrating other approaches to alternative energy that are comparable to fusion power and go beyond textbook knowledge and thus are quietly and comfortably ignored by the mainstream.

Competitive Advantage

Quantum Fusion, Inc. is a fresh entrant into the alternative energy race, but we do have an unfair advantage. While relying on proven text book physics we were fortunate to discover a set of conditions that easily leads to thermonuclear fusion within the cores of rapidly oscillating deuterium bubbles in liquid metals. Hence our hardware design is incredibly simple and inexpensive and can be constructed using off-the-shelf parts and components.

Risks

Like any high-tech project cavitation-induced fusion requires careful engineering. We have developed analytical model and numerical simulation that confirm our expectations. We have already conducted preliminary experiments and obtained positive results (neutrons were detected). Still, more work is head. By the end of 2012 we plan to demonstrate a repeatable and controllable cavitation-induced fusion that will pass the most stringent scrutiny of an independent third-party validation. The validationis likely to take place at Pennsylvania State University with participation of AECOM.

Offer

We are looking to raise $1M in exchange for 10% non-dillutable stake in Quantum Fusion, Inc. The funds will be spent on completing the proof-of-concept demonstration and independent validation of fusion results at a major university.

Long Term Plan

In 2012 we plan to demonstrate the proof-of-concept reactor and produce modeling software necessary for the fusion process optimization for commercial reactor design.

In 2013 we intend to demonstrate fusion process control and achieve net energy production.

Assuming the success of the previous phases, we will spend 2014 designing and building commercial 100kW low-grade heat power generator, which eventually can be pared with dynamo for electric power generation.

Intellectual Property

U.S. Patent Application #61,560,666, "Cavitation-Induced Fusion", filed 11/16/2011. World Patent applications are in preparation.

Invest in the Future

Now is your chance to invest in the future! The world with fusion energy will be a completely different place. Fusion power will make supersonic travel, flying cars, and even interplanetary travel possible. By markedly reducing the cost of desalination fusion power will transform deserts into thriving oases boosting agricultural production in world's poorest nations. By displacing fossil fuels fusion power will dramatically cut carbon emission thus slowing down and hopefully reversing the climate change.
